Lagarejo Selección

Name:  Lagarejo Selección

Type: Natural red wine

Vintage: 2009

Winery: Bodegas Viloria, Ronda

Region: D.O. Sierras de Malaga, Serrania de Ronda

Variety: Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo

Alcohol: 14%

Elaboration: The harvest is realized manually selecting the best grapes of every variety to obtain the maxim quality. The soil and the climate here let us make a complex and harmonious wine with a long life. The ageing was twelve months in new French oak barrels.

Colour: Red plum colour with purple hues, high density.

Nose: Perfectly integrated with aromas of black fruits,  followed by fresh mint and a hint of the barrel.

Mouth: Sweet-toned and refreshing. Round and mature tannins with finely integrated wood. Long and persistent finish.

Average Temperature of service: 14-16ºC

Pairing: Lamb, red meats and suckling pig.

 

Lagarejo Tempranillo

Name:  Lagarejo Tempranillo

Type: Natural red wine

Vintage: 2014

Winery: Bodegas Viloria, Ronda

Region: D.O. Sierras de Malaga, Serrania de Ronda

Variety: Tempranillo

Alcohol: 14%

Elaboration: Harvested  manually, the fermentation is done in low temperatures to mantain aromas and flavors.

Colour: Ruby colour with violet hues.

Nose: Very elegant with aromas of red fruits (strawberry and raspberry).

Mouth: Both strong and light on the palate emphasizing the acidity of the tempranillo grape, mature and fleshy tannins.

Climatology: Fresh and rainy Winter followed by pleasant and warm Spring with average temperatures of up to 18ºC.

Average Temperature of service: 16ºC

Pluviometry: This harvest gave less than 200l./sq.m. liter per meter square, very dry during harvest. Normally the  raining average in Ronda is between 600-700l./sq.m.

Pairing: Pastas,veal or fish tomato stews.

Lagarejo Cabernet Sauvignon

Name:  Lagarejo Cabernet Sauvingnon

Type: Natural red wine

Vintage: 2014

Winery: Bodegas Viloria, Ronda

Region: D.O. Sierras de Malaga, Serrania de Ronda

Variety: Cabernet Sauvingnon

Alcohol: 14%

Elaboration: This wine was made from the best Cabernet Sauvingnon. Aged during six month in French oak barrels in order to maintain its fruit intensity.

Colour: Clear and brilliant colour with violet hues.

Nose: Aromas of black fruits, slightly toasted notes and clear freshness of the menthol touch.

Mouth: On the palate it is a fresh and pleasant wine, the fruits are quite persistent and there is a perfect balance between the fruit presence and the oak barrels influence. 

Climatology: Fresh and rainy Winter followed by pleasant and warm Spring with average temperatures of up to 18ºC.

Pluviometry: This harvest gave less than 200l./sq.m. liter per meter square, very dry during harvest. Normally the  raining average in Ronda is between 600-700l./sq.m.

Average temperature of service: 16ºC

Pairing: Red meats, suckling pig, roasted lamb.

 

Lagarejo Reserva

Name: Lagarejo Reserva

Type: Natural red wine

Vintage: 2008

Winery: Bodegas Viloria, Ronda

Region: D.O. Sierras de Malaga, Serrania de Ronda

Variety: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah , Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Alcohol: 14%

Elaboration: The wine features the typical slow ripening of the grape due to the contrast of temperatures, fresh air at nights and hot during the day. Natural wine elaborated by the means of the traditional techniques and aged in new French oak barrels during 20 months.

Colour: Medium deep ripe cherry colour  with orange edges. 

Nose: Delicate with aromas of black fruits.

Mouth: Delicate, round, harmonious with fleshy and mature tannins and well integrated wood.

Average temperature of service: 14-16ºC

Pairing: dry cheeses, stews, Iberian meats, roasted meats.

 

Lagarejo Rosado

Name:  Lagarejo Rosado

Type: Natural rose wine

Vintage:  2014

Winery: Bodegas Viloria, Ronda

Region: D.O. Sierras de Malaga, Serrania de Ronda

Variety: Petit Verdot and Syrah

Alcohol: 13.5ºC

Elaboration: The grapes were harvested manually at the end of August. This wine was made by the fermentation of the grape-juice of the two varieties mixed and remaining in touch with the peels that contributes to the typical aromas and color.

Colour: Clean and bright ruby of medium intencity with some tones of pomegranate.

Nose: Very fresh and aromatic, aromas of strawberry and raspberry.

Mouth: Pleasant, soft and fruity.

Climatology: Fresh and rainy Winter followed by pleasant and warm Spring with average temperatures of up to 18ºC.

Pluviometry: This harvest gave less than 200l./sq.m. liter per meter square, very dry during harvest. Normally the  raining average in Ronda is between 600-700l./sq.m.

Average temperature of service: 8-10ºC

Pairing: Lamb, red meats and suckling pig.

 

Lagarejo Blanco

Name: Lagarejo Blanco

Type: Natural white wine

Vintage: 2015

Winery: Bodegas Viloria, Ronda

Region: D.O. Sierras de Malaga, Serrania de Ronda

Variety: Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier

Alcohol: 13,50%

Elaboration: Natural wine made of grapes harvested by traditional methods. The soft pressing provided the fines juice. The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature to provide the primary aromas (fruits and flowers) the both varieties.The adjustment of these vineyards to the environmental conditions enabled us to make this fresh, aromatic and elegant wine.

Colour: Pale yellow with green hues,  clean and bright.

Nose: Clean aromas with notes of passion fruit and white frut pulp.

Mouth: Fresh and well balanced with notes and slight hints of citrus.

Average temperature of service: 6-8C

Pairing: Starters, aperitives, fish and seafood.
