Finca Los Frutales Merlot Syrah

Elaboration: Handpicked. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 26 ºC, to extract the potential of grapes. Malolactic fermentation and aging in new barrels of French and American oak for 12 months. The blended Merlot Syrah is like a perfect couple.
Colour: Cherry garnet color wine with brown reflections, clean, upper middle layer
Nose: On the nose, fresh and mineral, with aromas of black fruit, blueberries, with hints of spices, which are balanced on a background of complex aromas, with notes of dried leaves, fresh tobacco, smoke and with saline nuances.
Mouth: Balanced mouth, nice and smooth entry, with dense large step and savory. Highlighting its freshness and minerality.
Climatology: Vineyard on the slope of a mountain "Sierra de las Salinas" with 15% slope at 700 meters of altitude with South facing. Calcareous soil. Planting density 4500 plants/ha. Producción 5400 Kg / ha year. The 2010 vintage was balanced as a result of favorable weather conditions, both rainfall and temperatures.

Elaboration: Handpicked. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 28 ºC, (to extract the potential of grapes). Malolactic fermentation and aging in barrels of French oak for 16 months. Cabernet Sauvignon is a french variety, which after several years of adaptation to the Serrania de Ronda, develop different, fresh, spicy wines and full of aromas of wild fruits.
Colour: Violet with garnet reflections, high layer.
Nose: Very intense and fruity nose, mineral nuances, black chocolate, aromatic plants and underbrush with a sweet background, notes of licorice and spices.
Mouth: Full in the mouth, very concentrated, with fresh nuances and very fleshy fruit. complex and very long aftertaste, highlights the chocolate powder ant the spices.
Climatology: Vineyard on the slope of a mountain "Sierra de las Salinas" with 15% slope at 700 meters of altitude with South facing. Calcareous soil. Planting density 4500 plants/ha. Producción 3800 Kg / ha year. The climatolgy during 2012 was dry but fresh, favoring low yields with very ripe grapes and concentrated.

Elaboration: Handpicked. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 28 ºC, (to extract the potential of grapes). Malolactic fermentation and ageing in barrels of French oak for 12 months. Garnacha got perfectly adapted to the climatic conditions of our vineyards, giving us a very good grape maturity but always maintaining acidity and freshness in the wine.
Colour: Wine of an intense violet color with high layer.
Nose: Very intense and fruity nose, powerful in fresh and mineral nuances, menthol, orange peel, rosemary and underbrush. With a background with slight hints of toasted coconut and ink.
Mouth: Full in the mouth, very concentrated, with fresh nuances and very fleshy fruit. complex and very long aftertaste, highlights the minerality.

Hacienda Vizcondesa

Elaboration: Handpicked (Syrah 2015 and Grenache 2015). Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at low temperatura (22 ºC) to preserve the fresh aromas of fruit. To achieve the balance in the wine, blended with 23 % of Garnacha 2014 with 14 months of aging in French oak barrels .
Colour: Intense violet color with purple reflections
Nose: Intense fresh aromas, floral, currants, cherries, spices
Mouth: Refreshing, light, soft and balanced, with notes of spices and wild fruits
Climatology: Vineyard on the slope of a mountain "Sierra de las Salinas" with 15% slope at 700 meters of altitude with South facing. Calcareous soil. Planting density 4500 plants/ha. Producción 4800 Kg / ha year. Very rainy autumn and a warm spring with little rain. August and September were very cool months favoring good ripening of the grapes.
Pairing: Starters, sautéed vegetables, rice dishes, light cheeses.

Elaboration: Handpicked. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 28 ºC, to extract the potential of grapes. Malolactic fermentation and aging in new barrels of French and American oak for 12 months."Igualado" stands for balanced wine in old winemakers slang. The four varieties Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and Grenache are combined in the proper ratio to achieve harmony and fullness in this wine.

Finca Los Frutales Rosado

This rose wine of the incredible quality was aged in French oak barrels for three months. It is an excellent option for hot evenings. Its fruity intense and agreeable flavour makes it a wonderful sample of a solidly good mediterranean wine. Harvested manually in early September.
Elaboration: The three varieties result in this rosé wine with great power. The fermentation in oak barrels gives the wine complexity, volume and smooth feel on palate.
Tasting notes: Intense pink raspberry.
Nose: Aromas with hints of peach, red fruits and spices. Tasty, powerful, well-structured.
Pairing: It is superb for all kinds of food, e.g. pasta, sausages, light meats, fish or fish stews.
