Elaboration: This wine was elaborated from the winery's own Graciano, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, cultivated in Finca Descalzos Viejos, with calcareous and somewhat stony soil of a loose texture, and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Finca la Sanguijuela Alta at 1,000 metres above sea level with a quite sandy soil. 

Colour: Deep cherry-coloured, medium/full bodied with violet borders. 

Nose: The bouquet is of great clarity strength with mineral hues and is suggestive of red, balsamic fruit and aromatic herbs.

Mouth: The flavour is very intense, lean but long, fresh and persistent. 

Average Temperature: 16ºC-18ºC

Pairing: All kind of meat, veal, pork, lamb. 

Awards-Medals: Great Golden Medal in Concours Mondial Bruxelles 2006.

Variety: Petit Verdot, Garnacha

Elaboration: This wine was elaborated from our Petit Verdot and Garnacha grapes, cultivated in Finca Descalzos Viejos. The soil is calcareous and somewhat stony soil of a loose texture with a high clay content, what adds minerality to the wine. 16 month in French oak barrels.

Colour: Dark cherry-coloured ,violet borders with a deep coloured rim. 

Nose: Original expression on the nose , mineral and earthy aromas, ending with tapenade nuances. 

Mouth: Powerful and broad mouth, pleasant in tannin and good acidity. Reveals the potential of the Petit Verdot in Andalucia. 

Climatology: The vintage 2009 had abundant rainfall at the end of summer with mild temperatures, which produced wines with good acidity.

Elaboration: This wine was elaborated with the best Garnacha grapes cultivated in a special piece of land in Finca Descalzos Viejos, with calcareous of a loose texture with a
high clay content. Partly made with full bunch maceration, aged 16 months in wooden barrels of 500l.

Colour: Cherry color with reddish flashes, medium rim . 

Nose: On the nose, intense and complex , presenting a good balance between a delicate mineral background and black fruits .

Mouth: In the mouth, tasty, elegant, with a long aftertaste . 

Bottling: 2012

Average Temperature: 16ºC-18ºC

Pluviometry: 400/600 mm

Pairing: Sharp cheeses, chicken , veal , plain rissottos or just a glass.

Type: Natural red wine

Winery: Descalzos Viejos 

Region: D.O. Sierras de Málaga, Serrania de Ronda.

Variety: Syrah

Alcohol: 14.5%

Availability: 120 bottles.

Elaboration: This wine was elaborated from a special Syrah, cultivated in a little piece
of land in Finca Descalzos Viejos with a calcareous and sandy soil. Completely elaborated with full bunch maceration technique and aged during 16 months in 500l barrels previously containing natural sweet wine from la Axarquía (D.O. Malaga)

Colour: Intense violet color and medium-high rim . 

Nose: On the nose, fragrant aromas of balsamic and menthol on minerals touches. 

Mouth: On the palate, fresh and spicy with a pleasant and broad persistence.

Pairing: Mild and smoked cheeses, foie gras, chocolate or just a glass.
